This Refund and Returns Policy explains your rights and options if you’re not entirely happy with your order.
1. Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order.
If 30 days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a full refund or exchange (unless required by law).
To be eligible for a return:

Your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

Proof of purchase (e.g., order number or receipt) must be provided.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Because many of our products are handcrafted or made-to-order, some items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Non-returnable items include:

Personalized or custom-made products

Gift cards or downloadable items

Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

Perishable goods such as food, oils, or spices
3. Returns Process
To start a return, please contact us at:

Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.
Once your return request is approved, we will provide:

A return authorization number, and

Instructions for sending your item back to our return center.

Please do not send returns without prior authorization, as we cannot guarantee processing or refunds for unauthorized returns.
4. Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

For defective or damaged products, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse shipping once approved.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
If you are shipping an item over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance — we can’t guarantee receipt of your returned item otherwise.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product:

Include photos of the product and packaging.

We will offer either a replacement, exchange, or full refund (including shipping).
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email that we’ve received your returned item and whether your refund is approved.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

If you paid via credit card or PayPal, the refund may take additional time depending on your bank or provider.
If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days, please contact your payment provider first, then reach out to us at support@moroccocraftshop.com.
7. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or the wrong product was sent.
If you need an exchange, email returns@moroccocraftshop.com with your order number and exchange request.
If you’d like to exchange for a different product or size, you may need to return the original item first and place a new order.
8. Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received.
If the gift wasn’t marked as such, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:

Contact your credit card company or payment processor — it may take some time for refunds to post.
